Point of View featured in New York Times
While we Washingtonians aren’t as easily impressed by political celebrity as most, this city certainly does have its Capraesque moments that get our hearts beating just a little faster. The view from Point of View at the W Hotel (formerly the old Hotel Washington), neighboring the US Treasury and the White House on Pennsylvania Ave., is one such example.
In a new article, the New York Times captures the buzz that has surrounded Point of View’s opening concurrent with the arrival of the Obama Administration. Given its prominent location, the rooftop bar has always been a prime attraction for government officials, lobbyists and Hill staff, but with a new, swanky decor that has traded wicker tub chairs for tufted leather sofas, Point of View has begun to attract a younger and trendier crowd.
